The debate continues, Princess Celestia or Apple Jack?

(This is a fake news article, don’t take it seriously. Also, any students mentioned in the article are fake.)

After three weeks of debate, a seventh grade ELA class is still going wild over a show made in 2010. Hasbro’s My Little Pony has been a big hit in children’s TV shows and is available at Netflix. This show was intended for small children, typically girls aged 3-9. These boundaries are clearly not followed, because children aged 12-13 are taking interest in this friendship-themed show.

The argument is between whether Princess Celestia or Apple Jack is the best character. Brandon Hansen states, “I will not stand for Apple Jack loving tyrants to rule the classroom anymore. How can they adore a pony that looks humanized and has a fake accent? At least princess Celestia actually some level of a resemblance to a horse.” Though this opinion is currently the minority, Celestia fans are on the rise. AJ fan Harris Smithson argues, “Celestia just seems so fake and rigid. She doesn’t even help out when a threat arrives.” This may be true, but what about other key points Brandon showed us? Next time on the Ravioli News.
